Scope of services

IslandSEO .tech provides local SEO analysis, website audits, WordPress security reviews, technical website checks, content updates, website maintenance, compromise triage, recovery guidance, and related web consulting for small and medium businesses. Services are delivered remotely or on-site around Koh Samui where agreed.

Information on this website is general information only. It is not legal, tax, accounting, security, or financial advice. Specific work only begins after a written agreement, accepted proposal, email confirmation, or other clear written instruction.

Quotes, proposals, and payment

Package descriptions and price placeholders are invitations to discuss work, not a binding offer to deliver every possible task for one fixed amount. Final scope, deliverables, timing, and payment terms are confirmed in writing before work starts.

This website does not currently take online payment or automatically create a service contract. Contact forms and email messages are enquiries until accepted in writing.

If a separate proposal, invoice, statement of work, or written agreement exists, that document controls the commercial details for that engagement. Unless agreed otherwise, third-party fees such as hosting, domains, paid plugins, subscriptions, advertising, stock assets, or specialist tools are not included.

Client responsibilities

Clients are responsible for providing accurate information, timely feedback, safe access to required accounts, and the legal right to use any content, images, data, trademarks, or materials supplied for a project.

Passwords, recovery codes, customer data, payment data, and confidential exports should not be sent through the public contact form. If sensitive access is needed, a safer handover method will be agreed separately.

SEO, security, and audit limits

Website audits and SEO reviews are assessments based on publicly available data, tools, platform access, and client information available at the time of review. Recommendations are made in good faith, but IslandSEO .tech does not guarantee specific rankings, traffic levels, conversion rates, revenue outcomes, or inclusion in search results.

Security audits and compromise triage identify known vulnerabilities, suspicious signals, and misconfigurations visible within the agreed scope. No audit can prove that a website, server, plugin, account, or third-party platform is free of all security issues. Emergency recovery work is carried out on a best-efforts basis.

Website content and case studies

The content on this website is kept as accurate and useful as practical, but it may become outdated as platforms, laws, search systems, and security conditions change. External links are provided for convenience and may change without notice.

The current work examples on this website are fictionalised examples used to show the kind of problems IslandSEO .tech can help with. They should not be read as verified client results, endorsements, or performance claims unless they are later replaced by real case studies with permission.

Data protection and privacy

Personal data submitted through this website is handled according to the privacy policy. The site is operated from Thailand and is intended to follow Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act where it applies, along with practical ASEAN privacy principles such as notice, purpose limitation, data minimisation, security, access, and correction.

Where the GDPR applies to a particular visitor, client, or processing activity, requests for access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or portability will be handled in line with the rights described in the privacy policy and applicable law. This does not change the governing law or court clause for the services unless a written agreement says otherwise.

Confidentiality

Non-public business information, technical findings, access details, reports, and project materials are treated as confidential unless they are already public, independently known, required by law, or approved for sharing by the client.

IslandSEO .tech may describe the general nature of work performed, such as "technical audit for a local hospitality website", as long as confidential client data, private security findings, and identifying details are not disclosed without permission.

Intellectual property

Content, reports, recommendations, code, configuration notes, and other deliverables produced for a client are delivered for that client's use after payment of agreed fees, unless a written agreement says otherwise.

Pre-existing tools, templates, processes, know-how, reusable code, and general methods remain the property of their original owner. Client-provided materials remain the client's responsibility and property, subject to any third-party licences.

Third-party services

Work may involve third-party services such as hosting providers, domain registrars, CMS platforms, WordPress plugins, email providers, analytics tools, search tools, or deployment platforms. Those services are governed by their own terms, pricing, uptime, privacy, and security practices.

IslandSEO .tech is not responsible for third-party outages, pricing changes, account suspensions, policy changes, data loss, or security incidents outside its reasonable control.

Availability and communications

This website is provided as a static informational site and may be updated, moved, interrupted, or removed without notice. Contact forms and email delivery can fail because of network, hosting, spam filtering, or third-party provider issues.

Response times are not guaranteed unless they are part of a written agreement. Urgent security or recovery requests should include enough context to assess risk, but should not include passwords or sensitive customer data through the public form.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by applicable law, liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service that gave rise to the claim. IslandSEO .tech is not liable for indirect, consequential, incidental, punitive, or special losses, including lost profits, lost traffic, lost rankings, lost data, downtime, or reputational harm.

Nothing in this notice limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including fraud, intentional misconduct, or other liability that applicable law does not allow to be excluded.

Governing law and disputes

These terms, this website, and services provided by IslandSEO .tech are governed by the laws of Thailand, unless a written agreement says otherwise. Disputes that cannot be resolved informally will be referred to the competent courts in Surat Thani province, Thailand.

Regional data protection and consumer laws may apply differently depending on a visitor's country, client location, and the nature of a project. Nothing on this page is intended to remove mandatory rights that cannot legally be waived.
